Do I have to live in Los Angeles to become a patient?

No. Pause and Power Health is licensed to see patients anywhere in California. You can be located in LA, San Diego, the Bay Area, the Central Valley, or any other part of the state. Visits happen by video and medication ships to your home.

All visits are booked through our patient portal. Click “Book a Consult” anywhere on this site, create an account, choose a service category, and pick a time that works. New patients schedule a 30 to 45 minute initial consult with our NP to start.

Pause and Power Health operates as a cash-pay practice. We do not bill insurance directly. On request, we can provide an itemized superbill that you may submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement under out-of-network benefits. Most patients use HSA or FSA funds toward consultations and medications.

Messages and emails are reviewed Monday through Friday and answered within one business day. Once you’re an active patient, clinical messaging moves to our HIPAA-compliant patient portal, where typical response time is the same.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department. Pause and Power Health is a telehealth wellness practice and is not equipped to handle emergencies. Our messaging and phone lines are not monitored 24 hours a day.
